My name is Richard Schulte. I love to write.
Years ago I published two short stories, An Unexpected Sunflower and A Miracle on Sixth Avenue, on my main website Cool San Diego Sights! But a photography blog about San Diego isn’t really the appropriate place for fiction. So I created Short Stories by Richard.
Here you’ll find thoughtful small pieces that might move you. Many of my stories contain darkness. Many contain hope. I suppose that’s the way I see life.
I also have a writing blog called Foolyman Stories. That one contains a bunch of silly, inventive stories about ordinary life. Word play, nonsense, absurdity and sheer fun abound there!
